JJ started as a disc jockey at radio stations and mobile events while he was still in high school in the 1970s. He moved around the country working at various radio stations, in a number of different capacities, air personality, music director and asst. program director.  He eventually landed in Phoenix in 1986 and started Desert Music Entertainment, home of the most professional disc jockey entertainers in Phoenix and all of Arizona. He has performed at over 2000 events in his career as one of Desert Music Entertainment's professional disc jockeys. He is one of the most requested wedding Phoenix disc jockeys. JJ is the the DJ who other DJs hire to perform at their events!

Vennie started entertaining as a disc jockey over 30 years ago. His favorite events to do are weddings, although he is equally adept at any other sort of event that requires professional DJ entertainment. His motto is that he can get people dancing at any sort of event due to his many years of experience in music programming & mixing. “Whether it’s requests or my own selections, I can read an event well and find something to get people dancing!” He is interactive without being obnoxious or over the top.
